The VTC Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on April 14, 2017
The Veterans Transition Center held their ribbon cutting ceremony today for the new "Monterey Quad" in Marina. These two refurbished properties will serve veterans housing needs in the community. The Embassy Suites in Seaside donated 40 suites of furniture to date, with 40 more coming in the next few months to the VTC. Many veterans, local governmental agencies, and private partners were on hand to see the culmination of all their work and witness the finished Quad for up to 16 more veterans.
Thank you to Teri Owens and her staff at the Embassy Suites for their generous donation and being on site for the ceremony and seeing their donated furniture in its new home!
